Those are the results a Colombian consumer goods company achieved after migrating from Infor WMS on-premise to Infor Cloudsuite WMS. The challenge: growing beyond what on-premise could handle<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Colombian company, a leader in the consumer goods industry, had been running Infor WMS on-premise since 2016. The system had done its job \u2014 it brought structure, control, and precision to warehouse operations. But the business kept growing, and a new SAP S4\/HANA ERP was coming online. In receiving, verification time per pallet dropped by nearly half, directly accelerating the operational flow. In packaging, productivity increased 57%, driven by automated pick lists and new RF device functionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In inventory management, cloud capabilities allowed the company to run full cycle counts throughout the day with a single person \u2014 without interrupting operations \u2014 while quantities update automatically in the system. That change alone improved both efficiency and real-time data reliability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In loading, the integration between packaging stations, RF devices, and the system reduced errors and accelerated order settlement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The transformation went beyond systems. The team gained the autonomy to operate and configure the WMS themselves, built through practical training and simulations. The BIRST analytics tool allowed users to generate their own reports and KPIs \u2014 reducing dependency on IT and strengthening data-driven decision-making at the operational level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
